KORBER in Connecticut
« on: Saturday 16 January 21 10:10 GMT (UK) »
I'm having a little trouble finding the death of husband & wife Charles & Abigail KORBER.
Charles Korber born abt 1830 Holland (Cigar Maker), Abigail born abt 1836 Kent.

The couple were last sighted in Hartford Connecticut on 1870 census where they had 5 children with them. (Arrived USA early 1860's)

There are various family trees on Ancestry but no deaths of Charles & Abigail unfortunately.

Charles was born in Holland & I hoped that might have helped pin him down but nothing so far.

If anyone can spot a death/burial record I'd appreciate the details please.

Thanks
Di

Oh dear how very sad  :'(

Thanks very much Sandra - really appreciate the links to the newspapers

Gosh, poor Abigail was left with their 5 young children without any means of support

I didn't think to look for another marriage but it certainly leaves many options on the table.

Thanks again
Di
