I'd be very interested to know of any records relating to Mrs Moreton or Morton, and her two sons who lived at (I believe, but could be wrong) Willow(s) Farm in Marlesford during WWII.

I have some photos of harvesting at the farm and of someone who might be Mrs Morton; would be wonderful to confirm that this is Mrs Morton, and happy to pass on copies to anyone interested.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, I saw that - which is partly why I wondered whether the photo of the house might be of interest to someone. Some old Suffolk farms go back to the Domesday Book and before, so not surprised it's old  :)

Looks like The Willows is a listed building

Could there have been a Mrs Minter?

From Gov.uk Find a Will site

That's very interesting, although there was never any mention of a Mrs Minter, I'm not sure whether mum's family were living with the Mortons or in a cottage on the farm ... in which case there were probably other cottages too.  It would be good to know, as part of what we'd like to do is identify the building where they lived, if it's still there.

Could the Minters have been farm workers?  I'm genuinely interested to know about these local families as, again, there are photos - in particular one of a wedding at Marlesford Church.
