Many thanks to Sandra for her great work in identifying Helen Marjorie Beck and her husband Harry Frederick Wright. It's much appreciated.

Peter

Thanks. Those are two very interesting finds. There is a Mrs Annie C. Burgess in the Census of Canada for 1911. She is married to a John A. Burgess, but might well be the person in question. I haven't been able to find her maiden name or any other related information yet.

The 1912 Toronto Directory has John A Burgess at 19 Nanton Ave (same as on the 1911 census).  He is a broker

Nanton is close to the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club and for Skating the old Toronto, Cricket, Skating and Curling Club.

However in the 1921 Census John isn't there and the only Burgess, Annie C age 50 is in Whitby at the Insane Asylum. It states she is single but it could be a clerical error.

Since I cannot find her husband in 1921 Census I suspect he died.

She might not be the one in the Asylum but rather died as well.

Thanks RK.  Good finds on the accident articles.
