So with no date, it doesn't seem to have made it onto scotlandspeople.
I had a look on familysearch, and came to pretty much the same conclusion as you.
They seem to have scores of films of the Glasgow Commissariot Court, but locked.
The second film they list I'm hoping will equate to the second 'volume' given in the book of transcribed indexes I found, where the one of John Cochrane 'Volume II 46' is.
By the look of it, film 2 is back in 1563 - 1565.
Now all I have to do is get to a Latter Day saints centre to look at the film!
