I would be very grateful if anyone could take some of the cracks off this wedding photo of my great aunt, Xmas Day 1924.

 :)

Thank you, yes I also thought it would be great in colour but didn't want to be overly demanding! I'm not sure what colour her flowers are but it must have been tricky to get flowers in December in London back then? Or maybe not, I'm sure someone will be able to tell me.  :)

PS, the groom died young, age 34. I don't know why or what he died from : I have tried Newspapers.com and other trees and her family but am none the wiser. Does anyone have any suggestions to try and find out cause of death please? (I guess I could send off for the death cert but it's yet another £11!).

George Edwin MEREDITH born Westminster London 10 Mar 1901. Bap 15 May 1901.
m Elsie DIGBY 25 Dec 1924 at St Gabriel's, Warwick Square, London.
d Apr 1934 (from England & Wales civil registration deaths on Anc).

Thank you!

PS - all parties are now deceased.

It's only £7.00 if you order it as a pdf from the GRO.
