I wouldn't be overly concerned about a slight difference in age.  People weren't always truthful about their age on census records.

My great grandmother knocked ten years off her age when she married great grandfather as he was younger than her.

Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China
Strong: Wiltshire
Watson: Cambridgeshire

Haha thanks I should know better, ive been doing this long enough to know and it makes it more of a challenge. Im glad you agree it looks like him so I've tried to look in the next census and nothing  :o. Driving me nuts  ;)
