Marriage look up please for

Ellen Price (maiden name Pugh) born 1867 Bromyard, Herefordshire. She married Arthur Price in 1887  Leominster Herefordshire, he  died in 1906. In 1901 both were living in Gorton Lancashire but must of returned to Shropshire, where he was born, as he died in Ludlow.

Their eldest son Victor Hamlington Arthur Price joined the army in the 1st world war. I have found a entry on ancestry in 1914 for a Victor Price age 26, birth about 1888 (Victor was born on the 2nd April 1888) naming the mother as E Reddwood.

Did Ellen remarry?  I cannot find a marriage and also I am not sure if I have the correct Victor.

I would appricate any help on this marriage.

If you check on the GRO website, you will see that mother's maiden name for Victor Hamlington Arthur Price is PUGH - Ludlow - June quarter 1888.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Yes that is correct, Victor's mother's maiden name before she married Arthur was Pugh.  Thank you for repying

Using FreeBMD I cannot see any marriage between Ellen Price and Reddwood/Redwood.  No marriages at all using the surname Reddwood, but a number for Redwood and "Ellen".

Looks like the army for Victor is another Victor. Thank you for looking.  Victor did join the army as all the other entries had his full name.
