Hello
I have hit a bit of a brick wall with Mary Jane Flint born in Salford, Lancashire, England, between 1857-1861, according to census and marriage dates of birth.
On her marriage record, taken at Christ Church, Salford, 29 May 1881, it says her father is George Flint, a tailor.

I can find no records of George Flint, a tailor, living with a Mary Jane Flint in the 1861 or 1871 England census, and I am wondering if the name George Flint, was an error.
This is because there is an 1861 England Census, of a Mary Jane Flint aged 1, living with a sister Sarah Flint aged 5 months, and a Father Robert Flint, a tailor, aged 53 and a Mother Elizabeth Flint aged 51, at Salford.
Then it struck me - the ages of the supposed parents Robert and Sarah Flint on seem a bit too old, at age 53 and 51, to be having children, so could they be Mary Jane Flint's grandparents, listed incorrectly as parents, as sometimes happens in census records

There is a death record for a Sarah Flint in Salford for 1865.
If anyone can help and give their thoughts, I'd really appreciate it.
