Samuel, a farmer was residing in Ballymoney. His father James was also a farmer but Samuel may not have been living with his father - hence James was farming maybe in Ballymoney or maybe elsewhere.

Have you looked at the Griffiths Valuation taken in 1863?

 :)HI Sam ;

Thank you for your reply and the info which I'm not sure I follow correctly
First ths baptism of Isabella Hedefin I have no idea who Arthur Webb is  ???
also what does it mean settled  2.6 and the same date. ???

Next death of Mary Ann McBride 15/12/1876 age 35yrs. yeah as spouse of Samuel and my
Grt Granmother she died then in Glas/Scot family history says she was buried back in Ireland in the McBride family plot if I remember Movilla Cem.Craigantlet. ???  Sister to above James and daughter of James & Jane Hedifont Ballymoney N/Ards. ??? don't understand this. ???

Samuel & Mary Ann Hedifont had a daughter born in Glas/Scot named Mary Ann McBride Hedifont  and she died abt.1876 abt.same time as her mother.

Who is Mary Ann Hedifont  a widow nee McBride (mar) Thomas Ferguson 12 Feb 1847  ???
I have the record of Robert Hedfent (b) Mar.1864 with granmother Lucinda McKee McBride witness.
father of Mary Ann was Archibald McBride Farmer.Killarn.

Annie
HI Annie;

I have the death cert for Samuel Hedifont variant Haddifon was signed by son James McBride Haddifon
Samuel died 1901 I forgot date. Old Man's Hospital Blackfriars District Glasgow  father named James  mother named Jane Connell. the weird thing is I never  believed  Connell was the correct name as the son James married a woman in Glas named Jane Connell and I think when register asked for spouse name he gave his own wife name ???

I do think Samuel mother was named Jane as he and Mary Ann had a daughter Jane McBride Hedifont in Glas and she also died abt 1873. this family is a real mystery  ???

Can I add note to member KG.  I have looked on Griffiths Valuation and cannot find Samuel anywhere thanks for the tip. :)

Appreciate all your help

Kind regards
Jane :)
