Mary Rocks b. 1847
« on: Sunday 24 January 21 09:51 GMT (UK) »
When Simon Rocks and his wife Anne registered the birth of Mary Rocks, the witnesses or sponsors were recorded as Bernard and Sarah Rocks. Would it be safe to say that they would have been siblings of Simon? I should add that none of Simons other children had these names. With other births of the same parents there was also a James, Margaret and Mary-Anne Rocks recorded.

More likely that Bernard was a brother to Simon with Sarah as his wife; other less likely alternative is that Bernard is Simon's father.
