John George Scarborough (1870-) and Ruth Rebecca Scarborough (1868-)
« on: Sunday 24 January 21 14:21 GMT (UK) »
Both born in Teversal Notts but moved to the Sheffield area. John married Mary Ann Oldfield in 1898 and had at least four children in the Oughtibridge area. Ruth married Charles Uttley and also had at least four children. They are not directly related to me but I have a photo of them and their mother Hannah (nee Taylor) taken in Lap Water, Birley Carr in about 1884.
If anyone is researching these or connected families I would be happy to share a copy of the (fairly early) family group (plus pony).

Andrew

Have you checked the Surname Interests Board to see if anybody is researching them?

Scroll to bottom of page & link is under Tools

There is a tree on Ancestry which includes JGS - he died 1907.   You could try contacting the tree owner

A different person has a tree for RRS - she died 1949 Derbyshire
