Fox Vaults Aberysywyth

In the 19th century the Fox Vaults was a pub on the corner of North Parade and Thespian Street in Aberystwyth on a site now occupied by a shop.   I am particularly interested in any old photos of the pub and any information particularly of the period 1885 until 1900.   I believe that during this period my great, great grandfather, Joseph Renfrey, and his daughter, Mary Jane Birkins, were licencees.   Thanks Dave

Lots of promising information but probably no photos.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have found information on the size and make up of the pub, plus info on licensing.   On a lighter note some of my Renfrey ancestors were involved in a few instances of over indulgence on the premises.
