Robert Taylor 1905-1990 I have him as born in Tyneham Dorset. He had brothers and sisters, one brother he had was Bernard Ambrose Taylor 1910-1970 he married Mary Catherine Strowbrige 1913-1977. Who if any did Robert marry? His parents were Fredrick 1868 and Annie Maria 1867-1922

Have you looked at 1939, he was baptised in Tyneham 26/05/1905, it looks as if some of his siblings were also baptised there

Robert unfortunately is the only child  with no middle name from this family

In 1939 in Wareham there is Robert TAYLOR born 25 April 1904 (birth a year out not unusual, I have several whose births are a year out on the Register) With a wife Josephine M.

I don’t think it’s  Mary C Strowbrdge as I have a document England & Wales, Civil Registration Marriage Index, 1916-2005 with the info that she married one of his brothers a Bernard Ambrose Taylor.

This is one reason I thought of handing it over to you the experts on here.

Mary Catherine Strowbridge married Bernard Ambose Taylor and Josephine Mary Strowbridge married Robert Taylor.

They were sisters, mother nee Squibb.

No one has suggested that Robert married Mary, I said it was Josephine.

Trish has given you you the birth registration details for Josephine and his brother’s wife Mary.
