Williams, John - 1899, Holyhead Angelesey - Birth Certificate
« on: Tuesday 26 January 21 16:18 GMT (UK) »
John Williams, born 16 October 1899 at 16 Summer Hill Terrace, Holyhead
Father: Owen Williams - a railway goods porter
Mother: Catherine Williams (nee Jones)
PDF format, from the GRO

I thought this birth might be my great grandfather, but sadly it's not. Hopefully someone else might find it helpful.
This John had 3 siblings: Owen (1894), Jane Eillen (1896) and Evan (1898). In 1911 the children and their mother lived at 7 Baker Street, Holyhead.

I'll also have the parents (Owen and Catherine) marriage certificate as soon as it arrives.
Williams, Marshall, Garrard, Hughes, Roberts, Evans
McAndrew, Higginson, Settle, Watts, Martin, Dunn

I was born in this hospital on the 7th July 1977, it closed not long after, My mum told me you stayed in for 12 days so the midwifes could show you how to take care of a baby, and fathers could only visit for an hour each day. How times have changed, it had been renovated quite a few years back to create flats, I don't think I could live in one just too spooky for me as it isa very ugly building.
