no, it doesn't confirm he was born in 1830. It just confirms that he said he was 26 at that time. The ages of 2 of my ggrandparents are out by 3 years on their marriage cert, hers increased by 3 and his decreased by 3, probably to make them appear closer in age.

There's a possible non-conformist baptism for a Price son of Edward
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X1R6-7V3
but that Edward is a collier according to the register available via Ancestry. There's a marriage in 1852 in Wrexham for a 23 year old Price Jones, collier, son of Edward, collier.

Who were the witnesses? In case their names are of help.

Unfortunately I can't scan the document to send you, and as I said before the print is very faint and difficult to read. I think the witnesses were: William (Evans/Givens ??), ????? Harrison and Miles Harrison.

well, the Harrison witnesses are from Elizabeth's side of the family so not a help with Price's line.

The baptism for Miles, father of Elizabeth, probably this one, son of Richard & Margaret

Possible baptism for Price Jones?

(Wales, Select Births & Baptisms, 1541-1907)
Price Jones, son of Edward and Elizabeth Jones, (Edward's occupation is labourer)
30 January 1831
Baptism place: Denbigh
Film 104777

Price is listed as unmarried, aged 27 and born Dymerchion, Flintshire on 1851 census but the family are living at Penybryn, Wrexham by 1851. He was married in 1856, age given as 26, and on his marriage certificate it states the marriage was solemnized in the Register Office in the district of Wrexham in the counties of Flint, Denbigh and Chester.

Is it possible that the above baptism is for my family member?

Think I have found Price aged 10, with father Edward and mother Elizabeth in Denbigh in 1841 census. This Edward is listed as 'Saddler'.   Still not 'farmer'. >:(

Dymeirchion is the same place as Tremeirchion

If you think the 1851 for 27 year old Price at the Cow Inn is the correct one, distinct possibility as he is a horsekeeper at marriage, what about the baptism I gave you earlier - 11 Sept 1823 son of Edward, labourer, & Ann Jones of Bronyblaidd?

I hadn't spotted that father Edward on 1851 census was an innkeeper, even if son Price is listed as labourer, I'm having doubts about this family.

In considering Edward (labourer) and Ann Jones of Bronyblaidd, baptising a Price Jones on 11 Sept 1823 at Tremeirchion- there's a baptism of an Edward Jones 16 Sept 1800 at Tremeirchion (by Edward and Anne) and a marriage at Tremeirchion of Edward Jones to Anne Crewe on 17 May 1816, resident at Tremeirchion.

Think I'll go with the Tremeirchion connection of Edward Jones and Ann Jones (nee Crewe) of Bronyblaidd being Price Jones' parents.  Thanks for your suggestions and help.
