birth certificate from adopt person

Hello everyone. A half-uncle of mine has been released for adoption. Now i have a big dna match and think it might be a child of this uncle. i find his name and place, his marriage details but no birth record or parents.
Does anyone know what is on a birth certificate of an adopted person? Thanks you

An adoption certificate will not contain any reference to the original parents, or place of birth.

It's the date of birth.

There is no way of linking the adoption certificate to the original birth certificate.

Does your match know there was an adoption or are they at least keen to find the connection?

Does your match know the actual birth date of the link?

Do your adopted uncle & the chap in your match show the same birth date?

Do you have a copy of your uncle's BC which says 'Adopted'?

If the father of your match is deceased, it's possible for him to obtain the adoption papers although you don't state where the adoption took place?

Hello Annie, unfortunately I only know the month and year my uncle was born. This does not match the alleged date of birth of the match's father. But as already written, there is no record of the birth. I wonder if the place of birth will remain in the new birth certificate issued or will it be replaced?

Where & when did the adoption take place i.e. yr & country?

It may be an idea to try & find out from an adoptee if dates on both certs. are different i.e. the original birth cert. & the adoption birth cert?

Depending on the yr of the adoption & place there could be different answers?

I know through a DNA match, an adoptee who has both certs. & I'd be willing to enquire whether both certs. have the same birth date but only if it's in the same general period & place.

Thank you very much for your help. I have no idea how to get the original birth certificate. I only know the name his mother gave him.  born in March 1942 in Gosport or Portsmouth.
