Elizabeth Beasley born Bristol?
« on: Sunday 31 January 21 17:08 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for a possble birth of Elizabeth Beasley sometimes spellt Bazeley or Beesley.
She married John Tuson at St. Nicholas Church 4th June 1798 Bristol. She was born around 1774 and lived in John Tuson's Parish of Newbury Berkshire. The 1841 Newbury census is the only one she appears on and it states she was born outside the Parish and was a midwife. I feel Elizabeth was born in Bristol but can't find a birth. John Tuson travelled around with the Militia which leads me to believe he met Elizabeth whilst serving in Bristol.
Thanks

Thank you. Yes I saw the parents of Elizabeth Bazeley, James and Catherine but the only records I could find for James and Catherine were in Lancashire which seemed a long way from where the marriage took place and John Tuson Birthplace.
Mary Ann born 1796 was John Tuson's sister born to John Tuson and Ann Stroud.
