McDowell children of Matilda Douglas and George McDowell

Hi All,

Could I please ask for some help
I have found out my great granny  Sarah McDowell was 1 of at least 10 ( that I have found )

Matilda Douglas and George McDowell parents George was a shoe maker ballymena here’s the wedding

I am looking into her brothers and sisters in particular Nancy McDowell

I have found her birth but can not find her census, marriage or death ?

Also Mary Jane McDowell was the 1st child born

But my question is they went on and had another Mary McDowell 1892

So would the 1st Mary have passed away.

Normally that would be the case, with a second child named after the first who died, but I don't see any death record for the first Mary in Ballymena S.R.D.

Strange I have found the second Mary on the 1911 census  with her sister Ellen mcdowell now wilson

Problem is that both Ellen and Mary say that they were born in Belfast.
