I am seeking info on PJ Cronin, born C1931 M 1955 UK D Coventry 1958.

I have all info on him as he was part of my family through marriage in 1955 to my sister except the following,
I require his birth record which I have not been able to trace, I want his parents names for my records. the Irish Genealogy site is not throwing up any leads even from Baltinglass Co. Wicklow which was a registration area.

His fathers name should be on the 1955 marriage cert. 

Does your sister or her children know his parents names?  Does your sister have his full birthdate?

As Carole says, you need the marriage certificate for his father’s name.

Irish genealogy only has civil births to 1919/20.

Was he from Baltinglass?

my understanding is that he was from Carlow and the registration district was Baltinglass (my Mother was from Carlow, registered in Baltinglass Co. Wicklow)  Tony

I searched and couldn’t find anything 

If you have no other information, it looks as though you will have to buy the certificate.

It might not be a mystery if you find his father’s name from the marriage certificate. It might not but it could be worth it.

Presumably from your remark, you think he was from the same area as your mother?

There are no Cronin registrations showing for Baltinglass or Carlow.
