WO 329 refers to the records that have the corresponding medal roll.

"often a roll reference that refers to a medal roll entry in series WO 329 which may reveal the specific battalion, brigade or battery in which the individual served"

Although Tonepad is quite correct I don't know why
it would appear under Company.
There was a 329 Coy. ASC as part of the 48 Div.
Saying that the 48 Div. went overseas in 1915 whereas
your man has the 15 Star & went overseas Dec. 1914
so may be just coincidence.
Where did you get this info from?

I have been researching for nearly twenty years. After two computer crashes it is difficult to ref stuff.
I can’t seem to keep order over protracted periods.

I seem to remember finding out the Len departed for France about Christmas time of 1914.
He got married in the November.

I have a pic of him driving a truck and have been trying to find out where the pic was taken

Somebody on a wwI forum said something about COY. I’ll try and find the post.

There are a lot of mysteries about our man. I have a picture of him dressed in a kilt
1 could not swear that it is him, but, why should his youngest son have this pic otherwise.?
