I am posting Michael Conroy (convict) born around 1798 Native Place Wicklow Trial Place Roscommon sentenced to Life his trade or calling Servant Indoor his age 23 and travelled out to New South Wales on the Vessel John Barry (2) in 1821. I have found that he is my connection not Mathew McElroy as previously posted in other Forums. :-[ A lot of time is involved in searching and I am not getting any younger, his relationship with Sarah McGauran and having a daughter who they named Mary (Sarah's) sister is named Mary (coincidence) and searching onwards it states that Mathew is her father. :-\ I am going to try and find out what happened to Michael Conroy since his arriving in New South Wales, I would like to thank all of you for your ongoing help. :)
