I've tried to take off that nasty colour cast found in the pics of that era but I'm on my laptop, so only have limited filters. I've also enlarged. It could be late 1960s to 1970s. Nancy was b. 1919.

Add - when enlarged, I don't think the hands are particularly arthritic.

* add - misread Lola's post. I thought she meant the 1960s not her age. I think this was 60s clothing for older women - reminds me of what my mother wore then. Could be later!

I would say the same. My Mother dressed like this in the late 1960s early 1970s when she was in her mid - Late 50s

I  had a dress exactly  like that in  winter of 1968.!
Mine was blue woollen  fabric .Hers looks exactly the same shape even to  the pockets.Same length. Same neckline.
Worn with long sleeved blouse  and cardigan over( winter).

Cannot find anything about Mervyn Stuart  T. except that he died in Oxford.  No christening record.

 I was wearing miniskirts and just married. I had been a student in London for the previous 4-5 years though    My sister, who was born in the 1930s, was also wearing such clothes (Mary Quant styles).
