There are a number of public  trees on Ancestry and it appears that he might have married 3 times.

Not sure if this is relevant  but might be of use:

Mervyn Stuart Trenaman is listed over a numbe of years in The British Imperial Calendar and Civil Service List  He seems to have been at the Ministry of Defence. 

London Gazette lists him as RAF in WW2.

Add - by 1967 he was in Dept of Trade  (add - originally Board of Trade)

In / 1973 and 1978  Mrs M S Trenaman is listed as a Commissioner on the Commission for the Constitution (under Lord Kilbrandon)

Ashes for  Nancy, Mervyn and Sheila were scattered in the same area in Wytham Woods.
The information that poured like water from a tap will take us quite a while to decipher, but it’s great to learn while they were here, they were well respected people. And yes it really doesn’t matter where the photo was taken or who the two people other than Mervyn were.
But must make a mental note for future photo’s, write on the back who, what and where. So we future generations are not pulling our hair out!!!
