I recently read a letter sent home from a relative who was in Winnipeg, Canada at the time.  In the letter, he wrote that on “Jan 25, 1910, he went to a concert by Welsh Rugby Football Club.”  Unfortunately, he did not name the club.   Out of interest, I would like to know who they were and I wondered if someone could please help.

Thanks in advance
anything and everything to do with the village of Brithdir, near New Tredegar in Gwent.

Hi Roy,

I do see an article :(Newspapers FMPast)
January 26, 1910 - Winnipeg Free Press - Winnipeg, Manitoba
https://search.findmypast.com/search/us-and-world-newspapers/page/view/1269848
(just in case anyone wants to transcribe it ;) )

Suggests that it was the Winnipeg Welsh Rugby Club. Captain was Bob LEWIS:
