If you have a look at the neighbouring addresses in the 1911 census you might get a reasonable idea where No 9 was.

There are no numbers on this map unfortunately, but you might find that you can narrow down No 9 using landmarks from the census:

In 1911 number 9 Midland Road was next door to the pub the Cock Inn.

Doesn't appear to be much left from that period, this NLS side by side map is the closest date wise to 1911, you can zoom in and out and scroll around to your hearts content

From what I remember of it when I lived down that way there was quite a bit of development going on and that was 15 years ago, I doubt I'd recognise it now.

Isn't that the same link provided by Ruskie yesterday,that's how I knew number 9 was next door to the Cock Inn.

You wouldn't recognise it now!  Number 9 would have been near to where Burystead Rise comes off Midland Road in the area where Tithe Barn Close houses have been built.
