Richard Purdon, 1861
« on: Monday 08 February 21 09:58 GMT (UK) »
Could someone find Richard Purdon on the 1861 census in Hull / Sculcoates, please.  He was born c. 1790 in Wilberfoss.  I have him in 1841 (in gaol) and 1851 (a labourer) and he entered the Charterhouse in 1864.  At some point he was the licensee of the King's Head Inn in Mytongate, Hull.  He was married to Harriet.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

Harriet died 1857.  Wondered if he had any daughters & could be living with them under their married name

Have you got Harriet in 1841? **

1851 is under Perrdan for anyone looking.

** Maybe Harriett Pordon 45 living Hull lodger?

Transcribed on her own but the family above are

Mary Harrow 40
Clementine 10
John 5
Richard 2

just in case that leads anywhere  :-\
