Milton Road/Avenue, Margate

Hi everyone 

I've just started researching my late grandmother's family who lived in Margate. On my grandmother's birth certificate it lists their address as 22 Milton Road, Margate. I've looked this up on an old map and the road seems to be called Milton Avenue now. Does anyone have knowledge of this area and might have an idea of the likelihood that the house my grandmother lived in is still standing?

I appreciate it might be a bit of an odd question but would love any advice or guesstimates anyone could give me.

I suppose that would have been helpful, wouldn't it? lol My grandmother was born in 1924.
