Annie Coleman, 1891 Census
« on: Tuesday 09 February 21 12:47 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

Can anyone find Annie in 1891? She was born in Devizes in 1873. Her dad Henry died in Devizes in 1886 and her mum Elizabeth died in Devizes in 1892. Reportedly, Annie came to West Lavington around 1886, to work as a maid for two sisters.

I’d appreciate any help!

Do you have her in 1881 with her parents?

Where were they living?

I can’t see a death for Henry in 1886 either.  :-\

Yes, they’re at Vine Court I think. She’s down as Bessie, as her middle name was Elizabeth. Henry died at 1 Jeffries Court in Devizes on the 2nd of April 1886, and was buried at Devizes Cemetery.

Sorry Ladyhawk, I’d stupidly forgotten to mention that her maiden name was Fielding. Her mum’s maiden name was Eden, although Annie’s birth wasn’t registered, although her christening from 1874 is on Ancestry. There was a brother whose birth wasn’t registered either.
