hello can anyone please help am trying to find parents of Joseph shackelton  born in 1796 in burnley Lancashire   his wife was a sarah nuttall born 1776 thank you lisa

Those dates look a bit iffy.

Where did years and birth location (s) come from?

They married in Burnley in 1814.  According to your post Sarah was 20 years older than Joseph

What evidence did your family member present to deduce birth year and birth place(s)?

In 1851 that same Joseph is a widower, born Marsden, Lancs
