Denbighshire Parish Records and FindMyPast !!

I've just had an e-mail from FindMyPast telling me that they have a new collection:

Denbighshire Parish Records.

They have had this record set for over 6 years as far as I can remember. I've been using them every week since they were introduced to look for my ancestors and their kin.  I did some checks via their link and there were red ticks on all my previous searches 

Can anyone explain why FindMyPast are introducing them as 'new'. It's the same set as far as I can see!

Second thoughts- they might have added some new records but I'm not sure that this counts as a new collection!    It's not at all clear what they've done.

I've just been having a look at them as well. According to the site, 'all the new additions come from the parishes of Ruthin and Llanrhydd'

I hoped in to see if I could find my 2X great grandfather and the note that I had already seen this record popped up, so I agree gadget.  They still don’t tell me which Owen Williams he is though.

Ah, thanks - they were missing for a while. I think there was a problem about permissions. I needed to find some of my Scots ex-pats.

I've just found the burial in Ruthin of my 4xg aunt, aged 89  .   I had bought the death cert  a few years back to check on the informant

Always good to find something! I always leap on any new additions where I have interests, haven't found anything new for ages. One of these days, fingers crossed...
