When using the Archive link above searching for Comber's Sussex Genealogies - Ardingley Centre, you get the following:

https://archive.org/search.php?query=Comber%27s+Sussex+Genealogies+-+Ardingley+Centre&sin=TXT

Good?

Phil

I only posted the baptism for Walter as you said he was the furthest you had gone back and you had not mentioned his father who would be the furthest back.  .

Sorry forgot to mention, but on the Joan Attwood side married to Thomas Michelborne you can go right back to early 1050's!

Have you researched this yourself or are you relying on online trees  :-\

I assume from your reply that you have not researched it yourself but have the information from online sources.

I am not researching any of these families myself but I am sure that your links may help someone in the future

Hi Rosie99 again,
Just to update, have found two children to Walter from his 2nd marriage to Katherine Bufkin b1605, two children are John and Thomas this info is from "County genealogies.
Pedigrees of the families in the county of Sussex; collected from the heraldic visitations and other authentic manuscripts in the British Museum, and in the possession of private individuals, and from the information of the present resident families.
By William Berry."

We are probably related somewhere along the line as I have a Joan Mascoll who wed John Standen in Lewes.

I also have Michelbourne family through Joan Michelbourne who wed Thomas Luxford in 1549. Joan's dad was John who died in 1575 and is buried in Winchester.
