Waipiro Bay School Roll of Honour

I am researching a man who appears on the Waipiro Bay School Roll of Honour for those who died in WW1.  I have found a photograph of the memorial but it is very poor quality.  Does anyone happen to have a decent photograph of the memorial or know how I can obtain one?  I have sent an e-mail to the school but not received a reply.  Graham

Is that on the Kaipara harbour. If so I would suggest you try the volunteers at the Matakohe Kauri Museum. Using phone so not sure if on the right track.

If you are inquiring about the Waipiro Bay school that is on the East Coast there is this photograph of it being unvelied by HB Williams.....this may be the one you have.

Thank your everyone for your replies.  I am also trying to establish if there are school memorials for Waituna West School and St Patrick's School, Oamaru.  Again, I have sent e-mails to both schools without reply.  Graham

Thank your for your reply.  I am looking at the three Palmer brothers who all enlisted together and travelled to the UK together.  Sadly, two of them died in service and the third returned to NZ to be discharged because of wounds.  Graham

I noted that there was no mention of my old school, so have just sent a photograph of the WW1 roll of honour.

I have been in contact with Christine at Sootys before.  I have also sent an e-mail regarding this enquiry and have received some contacts which I will now try out.  Thank you for the possible link for St Patrick's School.  Graham
