My 3x great grandfather born Walter Wilks abt 1844 in Great Barrington or Little Rissington Gloucestershire married Lucy Ann Jenkins....he was convicted in the 1870's after he left prison his name changed to George Farmer....is there anyone related to this man when he was a Wilks

What information in particular were you after?

His marriage at Stow says his residence at the time was Great Barrington and father - William (both labourers).

In the 1861 [RG9/1789 pg6] and 1851 [HO107/1970 pg4] census at Great Barrington they are easy to find, however Walter's place of birth is Burford, Oxfordshire.

I assume this is his baptism at Burford - 29 Jan 1843. Parents William (labourer) and Charlotte. (Brother Thomas baptised 19 April 1840 at Burford, parents William and Charlotte.)

In the 1841 census the family is at Burford, parents not born county:

William WILKS (of Great Barrington) married Charlotte BANNING (of Burford) on 4 Jan 1840 at Burford. His father Thomas WILKS (labourer), her father William BANNING (labourer). Both signed with their mark. Witnesses: James [?] and Jane BANNING (her mark).
