John Elliott Snelson RAOC - Palestine and Egypt

I am researching the military service of my father, John Elliott Snelson, service number 303950. I know he was Lieutenant in 515 Vehicle Company and was in Egypt 1941-43 and Palestine 1943. He was invalided out to Military Hospital, Liverpool Road, Chester and subsequently to Vale of Clwyd Sanatorium, Ruthin in 1945. I have applied for his military service record but wonder where else I might find information and hopefully some photos.

there is a site called Snelson datebase and Armory http://snelson.org/up/ni31.htm   that has a John Elliot Snelson on it didnt see any photos
