Jane Finnie Wilson
« on: Wednesday 17 February 21 15:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi there:

I'm looking for family of Jane Finnie Wison. She lived in Galashiels. Her parents were Hugh and Christina Wilson. They lived at 22 Balmoral Place in 1901, and later Jane moved to Edinburgh where she ran her own business as a dressmaker at 15 Bellevue Crescent. She died in Edinburgh in May of 1949 at the age of 75.

If you have any information or know of potential relatives, please send me a reply.

Thank you,

Rich

Looking at census info she appears to have had 3 sisters & 2 brothers born between 1876-1887.  Her birthplace is shown as Biggar - Lanarkshire & not Galashiels.  You are getting confused with where the family lived

Have you checked SP for marriages for her siblings & 1911 entries?

Have you checked SP for deaths?   www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Have you checked the Surname Interests board in case anybody else is researching the family - scroll to bottom of page & link is under Tools
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Oh yes, the information I posted is from Scotlandspeople. I was just asking for any more information from anyone who might like to help.
Thanks
