I was about to ask the same question.  What a clutter  >:( why do they need to tinker.  Every time I click the image it increases in size.
I have sent a report also.

Top right is a button that says “all pages”. Select that and the film strip disappears

Mckha489

What are you viewing Findmypast on and which browser are you using, please? I've tried on Chrome and Edge but the button you refer to is not there and the options you have at the top and bottom are reversed on my screen!

The attached is an example of the options I have from a random Census page:

Sorry no good at uploading images.  I am looking at an 1841 census and I definitely don't have an 'all pages' button.

I have options and viewer controls, neither of which has all pages.

Yes just typed it all out for Windows

At the top of the image there is a bar across the top of the screen with options to zoom in or zoom out enabling you to size the image as you like.

The options also include :- Add to tree, Print Record, Download Record, Report Image Error

The Viewer Controls :- Rotate to the Right, Rotate to the Left, Recenter image, Full Screen,

Then a drop down menu titled More which allows change brightness, changecontrast and invert colour.

After the more Button is the button to change image size.

There are also two sets of buttons at the foot of the page
The uppermost set provide: Record Pages, Related Materials, Linked transcripts, Record Information and Record Copyright

The lower set is a single option Record Page (every page in this record set).
Below this is the film strip.

I suspect this will change depending on the size of the monitor you are viewing on and or whether using a phone etc.
Cheers
