.. and one with a deeper tone and some light texture..

I think I might have over brightened her blouse  :-\

(if I get time, I'll try to redo it on my big machine!)

Thanks so much for taking the time Gadget, they are really lovely, I wouldn't worry about the blouse as my printer always prints darker than that what they are. I appreciate your time and skill  :-*

One with a tint
Pat

Lovely work Pat, you have brought out the detail in the frilled flap at the front of her blouse. I really appreciate you taking the time to do it.
This was their wedding photo taken in 1906.

I'm now on my big machine and there's no sun in this room as it faces north  :D

I can see a good few flaws but as you don't mind and my eyes are watering from squinting at ridiculously small text (glasses need), I'll not redo.

Why do so many sites have tiny text, even when enlarged!

Maybe it's me - old age creeping up fast  :'( :'( :'(

It's fine really, I don't want it to be perfect  :D
This is her in the late 1940s...it was originally a tiny locket photo.

What a lovely gentle face. My avatar is a pic of my Gran, my father's mother.

My mother's mother died in 1928 and I've only got 2 really poor photos of her.

I was really close to her....she had 13 children but only 7 survived into adulthood. She lived to be 90 years old. I remember her making cowboy and cowgirl outfits for a local shop.
