Another of Adam's in laws
« on: Thursday 18 February 21 12:56 GMT (UK) »
My relative, Adam Burgess, married a Castle Douglas  publican and blacksmith's daughter in the early 1830s.  This photo was e-mailed  to me with the  one of a woman that I put up yesterday. It was said that he was his father in law but I think it is most likely his brother in law, who followed in his father's footsteps.

It's in reasonable condition but I'd be grateful for a little more restoration and toning, please. I prefer it not to be coloured.

Many thanks.

Gadget, I've altered the dimensions of this one to give it a similar size and treatment to the one of the woman. :)

The first attempt at an upload the file exceeded 500kb as it was png, so I Saved As a jpeg and changed the file name but it was being sluggish ... uploaded now though, cheers, Ian
