William Brown b 1824 Burford or Bowbrook, Northamptonshire
« on: Friday 19 February 21 21:07 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for my 2nd Great Grandfather, William Brown, born 1824 Northamptonshire.

I can't see images, only indexes.  Here's what I've found:

1850 Jan-Feb-Mar Chelsea, London, marriage registration with Hannah Blackall
1851 Census at Saint George Hanover Square, Middlesex, says born 1824 Burford, Northamptonshire.
1861 Census St Pancras says born 1824 Bowbrook, Northamptonshire.

His occupation was Plumber.

I'm stuck because can't find either of those towns near Northamptonshire.
I also can't find him in the 1841 Census to see where that is.

Can anyone see sources related to the marriage that might show his parents?
Or locate the 1841 Census?
Or know information about towns that might be Burford or Bowbrook?

Thank you in advance for taking a look.

The marriage shows his father is also William Brown, plumber

Both witnesses were Blackalls, so not many clues there

Ancestry have transcribed place of birth in 1851 as Bugbrook - which the image does looks like. There is a Bugbrooke
7 miles south west of Northampton
