Liverpool/Dorset help

Hi

I'm trying to trace my mother's family tree but not having a lot of luck. My mother's grandfather John Hussey was married to Annie Sargent in Liverpool. He died when my grandfather (John) and his brother (George) were very young. Annie later remarried and had another son. I've found a grave in Allerton Cemetery which may be John Hussey. However I cannot visit due to lockdown. Apparently his family were from Dorset but we cannot be sure of this. My grandfather knew very little about his father because when his mother remarried, they were not allowed to talk about him. I think he may have died in May 1936 and could be buried at Allerton Cemetery. Section 35 grave 808.

Do you know when your grandfather was born?  You give no dates.  At the moment I cannot find a marriage between John Hussey and Annie Sargent.

Thanks for replying so fast and looking, that us so kind.

 No we have no clue when he was born! Just that he was a lot older than Annie and he died when his sons John (Jack) and George were very young. Annie then remarried and became Annie Colquhoun and had another son Robert. Just dont know where to start at all with John Hussey, feel like I've hit a dead end and everything us a guessing game.

The marriage was a civil ceremony so cannot be looked up.  If you buy a copy - it will give John's fathers name

Youre so kind for looking! This will be my grandfather John (known as Jack) and his brother George. I just can't get passed that and not sure what else to do. I joined ancestry but I'm just struggling to know if it is him or another John Hussey.
