Literally 25-30 metres from our grave - I was  actually dissappointed there was no headstone for John Hussey .would have been nice to take a photo of it  xxxx
the first in our family grave was june 1939 section CH36 - John Hussey was May 1936 CH35 so everything matches if you see that 3 years after John Hussey - they have opened CH36 ...so - not for me to say - but it does look like the grave of John Hussey died May 1936 - I would be interested to see if any other members agree with my thoughts ??

Yes. Nice move garstonite, over and above.
My feeling is, the grave you have found is the correct person.
However, I believe other research should be undertaken. I would be interested in seeing the complete MN record found by osprey which I believe came from FindMyPast. Which I do not hold a subscription for. The last  Logbook and Crew Agreement of LUSITANIA needs to be examined to see wether or not it was the correct  John Hussey who survived her sinking.
I also think we need comment from the original poster.

regards

just seems to be a list of ship's numbers and dates. Sorry left out Manzanares 129551 date stamp 2 March 1925.

No mention of where he sailed from. The replacement certificate is stamped 3 June 1924 Mercantile Marine Office Garston.
