Pearce family Porth
« on: Saturday 20 February 21 13:41 GMT (UK) »
Hello, I'm trying to trace my Mamgus family from Cymmer, Porth. I have found one of her sisters, Margaret who lived in Porth married to William Pearce in 1896. I have found Margaret and William on 1901 census living at 35 High Street, Cymmer, Porth, with son William born 1899. Also still at same address in 1911, with children, William (1899), Elizabeth Ann (1901) and Jennie (1904). says on 1911 census that they had 7 children in all but 4 had died.  On 1939 register they are still at the same address only Margaret is listed, no William, but says shes married. With her is daughter Elizabeth A, born 23 Oct 1901 and a baby called Thelma V Paice born 24 Nov 1938.
I have also found more possible children after 1911 census, Maggie (1912), Sarah (1914), David E (1916), Mary (1916) and Lilian (1919) all MMN Morgan. Not 100% sure they are all Margaret's children as cant seem to find any Baptisms for them.
My Main problem with the family is that I have found a family tree on Ancestry with some of the information I have, mixed with a lot that I'm not sure if it is right or not and I'm more lost than before I found the tree.
Any help or advice would be so good as I seem to be going back to the tree on Ancestry but so confused  !!
Thanks
Jan

Thanks for looking but that isnt them. The 1891 census is the only one I have been able to find the family on together. There is also a brother called Noah Morgan born 28th June 1872. I have never been able to find the family on 1881 census or David Morgan on 1901 census.

yes that's him. just cant seem to find the family when their mother Ann was alive on 1881 census or their father David after 1891, apparently he remarried but dont know who he married.

Could you type up the details from the 1891 census, please? Or give a link to FamilySearch entry? Not everyone has access to Ancestry Library Edition.

Is this the 1891 you're working from?

Margaret in 1901

This looks like Noah in 1901 although wife appears to be Margaret and the transcription of the county is astray.

Margaret, David's mother, on the 1891
