Murdochina McBeath Emigrated to Canada to marry

Murdochina ( Ina ) McBeath 1886-1941 emigrated to Canada from Scotland to marry John Cormack who was born at Keiss Caithnessson son of William Cormack and Alexandrina Sutherland

Ina is the daughter of Robert McBeath and Margaret Ferguson  I have all the McBeath family but I cannot find  much more about Alexandrina Sutherland  the grooms mother  .

I can only find the death of an Alexandrina Sutherland  who died 3.March 1928 wife of William Cormack Parish of Tarbat Ross and Cromarty she is aged 78 parents on this certificate from Scotlandpeople daughter of  Alexander Sutherland and Margery Forbes .On a chart I was given from a Cormack family member Alexandrina's parents are as Alexander Sutherland and Margaret Sutherland .This is a bit misleading .I think  Alexandrina  and William  emigrated to Canada as their son John on the marriage document is a cheff the address is given 528 2nd Street Menora ( I hope that's correct ) also a witness is Jessie Cormack .Also as I cannot find anything about the parents of Alexandria's I wonder if they emigrated too

Likely, 528 2nd St, Kenora, Ontario which is about 120 miles east of Winnipeg which is the closest city. In 1931 Population was only 6,700. 

There is only one Cormack in the Kenora-Port Arthur area in the 1921 Census but he was born in Ontario.

This is the marriage you referred to.  Don't think the parents did immigrate to Canada.

The attestation papers posted by polarbear in reply 11 - show that particular John Sutherland Cormack was born in Edinburgh which would not be the one who was born Keiss Wick Caithness.

Thank you both John Sutherland Cormack is a relative he is also on my D A N in ancestry

I have been back into my downloads from Scotland People and came across this certificate
1875 District of Mornington City of Edinburgh the marriage of William Cormack 28 a railway Porter  his parents are William Cormack occupation a Mason and Janet Eldis  ( this record is also on the family chart )and Alexandrina Sutherland 24  daughter of Alexander Sutherland a fisherman deceased and Margaret Sutherland nee Sutherland this will make her born 1851 calculating from the death record aged 78 ( 1928 ) above birth 1850 nothing in it only the mothers names
I am now off to find a grave many thanks again
