Maybe ?

Death , Sarah Whiteside , age 12 , 30th Dec. 1851 Glasgow Lanark , 644/1 580 60.

That's on the Parish Records index on SP , might not give any further info. on the actual record.

You might be interested in information about Sligo Workhouse if you haven't come across this site previously-

I've actually seen the originals of the Sligo Workhouse register. Sadly the book I need has been lost.

They were Church of Ireland, which I suspect helped because they were probably fostered out after a shortish stint in the workhouse.

The newspapers mention the children were in care of the Protestant Orphan Society. Have you tried https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/a/A13531253 for any possible records (https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/N13838492)?

Not sure what access arrangements are due to current Covid19 situation (or if you would even consider paying a researcher to look), but:

Mitchell Library, Glasgow hold Poor Law records for the area. Perhaps there is an entry showing the children being sent to Sligo.

https://www.glasgowfamilyhistory.org.uk/ExploreRecords/Pages/Poor-Law.aspx

and Lair records for potential burials of parents:

Lair records for some Glasgow cemeteries are also found at familysearch, albeit not indexed, so need to go through films.
