John Rees Shoemaker b.abt 1831 Llanarthney

Hello

Looking for help in trying to find John Rees in censuses earlier or later than 1861. I have found him in 1861 in the Hamlet of Trecastell, Llanarthney at Gellyglyd:

Mary Griffiths, Head, Widow, age 62, Housekeeper, Llanarthney
John Griffiths, Son, unmarried, age 19, Blacksmith, Llanarthney
John Rees, Gd Son, unmarried, age 30, Shoemaker, Llanarthney

But can’t find him in other census records. He is not with Mary in earlier or later censuses.

He also seems too old to be her grandson! (For reference: Mary’s birth year in other census records is consistently around 1800)
