Joseph Christopher Farrell - Phibsborough/Phibsboro

Hi all,

Desperately trying to find out more information on my Grandfather. I have some information but I believe he said he never had a birth cert. So we don't know what country he was born in or what date.

However the  following information  below may help:

Joseph Christopher Farrell
Birth: Guess
Death: October 29th 1992
Burial: Glasnevin Cemetary (St. Pat's)
Parents: Bridget Farrell (Unsure of maiden name) and John Farrell
Siblings:

I do know that his mother and father  lived on Phibsboro Road in the  1911 census and later in her life she lived in Shandon Drive, Phibsborough.

He married Maureen Gorman d. Jan 4 2000 (Father: Arthur/mother Mary Gorman) and very little information

He May have lived at Smithfield Avenue in East Wall.

He had two children with Maureen - Brendan C Farrell and Sean Farrell

He left his partner for Constance Farrell ne. Holden b.1930's (not married.  Constance changed her name by deed poll)

He had one child born in 1950's in the Coombe.

I am sorry if I don't have any more information but it's really srouded in mystery.

I have found the birth of Kathleen Christina Farrell 24/12/1907 and her mother's maiden name is shown as Devine

The family were living at 212 Phibsboro Road

Ellen was born 12/10/1904. Mother's name Devine
Address seems to be 191 Phibsboro road.  Interestingly an Eliza Devine was present at the birth. She lived at 232 Phibsboro road.....mother's sister? mother? aunt?

John Farrell full age labourer 3? Phibsborough road father John Farrell deceased a labourer

Brigid (spelling on entry, she signs Bridget) aged 19 years, spinster 232 Phibsborough rd father is James Devine deceased a labourer

This may be James' death
12/7/1899 registered by Elizabeth Devine who was present at death. (An Elizabeth Devine was present at the birth of one of Bridget's children. ) North Dublin had heart disease for 8 months.  Was 47 at his death.

Thank you so much for the help. I have only managed to get the information on 1911 so far, so this is a massive and incredible help!
