Roads missing from 1939 Register

Hi,
I am trying to find a family who were in Mayfield Road, Belverdere, on the 1939 register.  Using address search on FindMyPast it appears that the road, and two parallel roads, are not present.  Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

According to FindMyPast they are known to be missing  (found by googling 'missing roads 1939 register')

I only thought about asking Google as that is how I generally find the missing census information on FindMyPast
