Margaret Stainton 1871
« on: Tuesday 23 February 21 09:48 GMT (UK) »
Margaret Stainton, b. Hull 1798, is on the 1871 census at GBC/1871/4784/0056 in Sculcoates.  But what I can access on FS doesn't give me the actual address.  I'd be grateful if someone could look it up for me.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.

17 Dock Street.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Great, thanks.  It's the same address (or at least street) as 20 years earlier, which raises questions.

I notice in 1851 she was a School Mistress, not sure of the address but in 1861/1871 at 17 Dock St. as posted. In 1861 she is with her younger sister Elizabeth, occupation for both noted as "Day School"
