Can anyone identify the vehicle?
« on: Tuesday 23 February 21 14:37 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to date this photo from the vehicle in order to pin down who the subjects might be.  It came with photos belonging to my grandmother so they may be family connections.

Here is The Venture Bus starting out the Service between Bathgate & Avonbridge in 1927. Looks very like yours. There is a very helpful Bus & Truck community on YouTube try there too.

My Dad was a SMT Bus Driver all his life.

Thank you for your replies.  The NLS film shows Mr Robert Baxter wearing the same uniform as the man in my photo so I think it must be a Baxter's bus.  I travelled on the green Baxter's buses twice a week as a child going between Glasgow and Airdrie.  I was delighted to see many scenes of Airdrie in the 50s in the film.  I have still to follow up with the Facebook page.
