Public Domain photos of New Houses/Mount Pleasant

I'm working on a family history to share with relatives.  Our ancestors lived in New Houses and Mount Pleasant so I'd like to include photos to help tell the story.  I've seen photos posted, but am not sure where I can find photos that are in the public domain.

Any tips will be appreciated.

If  you go into Google Images there's a good chance you'll see some photographs that you are looking for. You will have to put in the area these places are in.

..but, if you are going to use them publicly in the future, make sure they are not copyrighted.
